Over the last decade, Dubai has undergone a period of rapid transformation that has seen its population grow from just over two million to more than seven million today. By 2025, the construction industry is forecast to contribute $107.5 billion to GDP and provide employment for 15% of the working population in the country.

In June 2022, the Dubai residential property price index hit a ten-year high. The Land Department has registered nearly 9,000 sales transactions totaling AED 22.75 billion, or $6.27 billion. Foreign investors can obtain a UAE residence visa when buying property in the country.
